In our 5th COVID-Update, we want to briefly talk about our upcoming Trackday in Mettet on the 9th of April.
Most importantly: The Belgian government has extended the ban on non-essential travel until the 18th of April. This means, that travelers can only enter the country under certain circumstances such as a business trip.
Other restrictions seem to be unchanged:
- You will not have to quarantaine yourself or produce a negative PCR-Test if you do not stay longer than 48h
- You will not have to fill in a passenger locator form, if your stay is not longer than 48h
- You will have to carry a sworn statement: LINK, that justifies your travel to Belgium. This paper has to be in your car (with you) at all times while you're in the country
You will find further information here: LINK
We will be present and the Track Day will go forward, except Belgium bans such activities altogether.
In case you decide to cancel your trip to Mettet in April, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. As we are receiving a lot of questions at the moment, we may take a bit longer than usual to reply.
