COVID-19 | NO RISK – FULL REFUND IN CASE OF CANCELLATION
As of late November 2021, we ("GP Days" or the "Organiser") understand that times are still difficult at the moment. While our first Track Day in April 2022 is still some time in the future, we don't want COVID to spoil the fun again.
That's why we stand by our refund guarantee if the local authorities decide to ban public gatherings, sporting events, etc., thereby preventing us from running our Track Day.
Please be reminded, that we can only guarantee a refund in case we, as the organiser, cancel the Track Day. Please see below to find out when you are eligable for a full refund of your Track Day fees:
You are eligable to receive a refund:
- if GP Days cancels the Track Day due to restrictions in the country where the circuit is located due to restrictions imposed by the local authorities
You are NOT eligable to receive a refund:
- if the Track Day has not been cancelled by GP Days but you are not able to travel to the circuit due to travel restrictions imposed by your country of residence
- you have been requested to quarantine yourself by the authorities of your country of residence and can therefore not participate in the Track Day
- you do not want to be subject to potential quarantine or testing rules related to travel restrictions in the country of the Track Day or your country of residence

Consumers, i.e. any individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside those individual’s trade, business, craft or profession, are entitled to cancel any contract on the following conditions:
A. Instructions for the cancellation of a Track Event ("Track Day")
GP Days has put into place a special cancellation policy for all track events.
You may cancel your Track Day booking according to the following cancellation schedule:
Up to 8 weeks before the event (56 days): We will reimburse the entire track day fee free of charge
8 - 4 weeks before the event: We will reimburse 50% of the booking fee minus a €10 handling fee
We will not be able to issue any reimbursement less than 4 weeks before the event (28days)

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (GP Management GmbH, Huttropstr. 60, 45138 Essen, Deutschland, Tel.: +49 (0) 201 319 3771 13, E-Mail: firstname.lastname@example.org) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel a booking within the timeframe laid out above or send back a product within the return period, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and not later than fourteen days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
Please refer to the above mentioned paragraph "Cancelling a Track Event" for further information on the exact reimbursement regarding our track events.
For physically delivered goods, we may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction or transfer you the outstanding amount to your bank account, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us.
The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
